Energy Saving Pump System

Energy Saving Pump System

TS247 have recently been involved in replacing a number of pump systems from the basement of the Lloyds building in London. Despite being an icon of modern architecture the building had a duty/standby pumping system that consumed a large amount of energy. Much of this energy was used needlessly as when the system was at capacity there was no means of regulating the motors. A clutch between the motor and the pump would open saving wear and tear on the pump but leaving the motor running continuously.
